Wow, I do not know where the last year has gone!  Our adorable puppy turns one today!  He's had a busy first year with kindergarten class, then basic obedience class, then starting showing and of course just being a pup the rest of the time!  We couldn't be happier with how out-going and friendly this little pup is, he's turning into a wonderful little dog!

Today we confirmed that we will be welcoming a new family member very soon!  He is a stunning lemon and white male with a very handsome head and thick, full coat.

UPDATE - Sailor has arrived and is settling in well!  He is an adorable little guy who is getting along with everyone and seems to be taking the transition from his previous kennel to current house life all in stride - no accidents and he is very happy to share the comfy spots with the others!  So far he's proving himself to be a most delightful little guy!

Amylee celebrated her first birthday today!  She now tops the scales at 5 pounds.

This show was practically in our backyard so we attended the whole three days!  The highlights were how well the pups behaved and showed outdoors on the grass, they absolutely loved the ring!

At the end of the weekend:
- Sachio came home with:  Best Puppy in Breed twice
- Amylee came home with:  Best Puppy in Breed, Best of Opposite Sex and Winners Bitch, giving her her first point toward her Canadian Championship!

We were off to our first indoor show today!  Sachio and Amylee took it all in stride and showed very well!  This show was much larger than the puppy sanction match in March and I was very happy to see how well the pups adjusted to the arena and all the events that were taking place.

At the end of the day:
- Sachio came home with:  Best Puppy in Breed
- Amylee came home with:  Best of Opposite Sex

We took Sachio and Amylee to the sanction match today - what fun!  Sachio absolutely loved all of the attention and Amylee, while a little timid, settled right into the showring as well.

At the end of the day:

- Sachio came home with:  Best Puppy in Group, Best in Breed and went on to a third place in the Toy Group.

- Amylee came home with :  Best in Opposite Sex

I was very proud of both of my pups!

What fun puppy kindergarten was!  Sachio absolutely loved the experience and learned the basics of car rides, socializing, and the basics of obedience.  I would highly recommend a puppy k class for everyone with a new puppy!

We're off again!  This time the whole gang is heading to the Toronto airport to pick up a very special little girl.  Amylee has a bit of a flight so we hope she's okay with the duration!  We are very appreciative that Ethel and Shauna allowed this little girl to become part of our family!

UPDATE - Amylee arrived safe and sound with no problems!  She had eaten well on the plane and seems to be in great shape!  My first impression - what a sweet, although a little shy, tiny girl.  Amylee is much daintier then the others but she doesn't let that stop her from playing just as roughly!  She has no problem keeping up with them!

Sachio joined our family today, he is a small black and white pup who is the grandson of the famous imports Canadian Champion Roseheavens Alba and Canadian Champion Roseheavens Soffi from Denmark.  This little guy is the most active, robust, fun loving pup I have ever known!  He is already keeping us in stitches!
