When we brought our first Chin home we had no idea what we were getting into.  She quickly won our hearts and we became enthusiasts of the Japanese Spaniel (commonly known as the Chin).  We also realized, as have so many Chin owners before us, that this is an extremely contagious breed in that it is next to impossible to have only one!  Our family has grown from that first puppy into a little pack of wonderful adult dogs.  While they are unique in temperament and antics, they each hold a very special place in our hearts and home. 

We are not a kennel, nor a breeder, we simply have fallen for this wonderful breed and want to show and promote these unique and exceptional little dogs.  We take great delight in sharing our home and gardens with our Chins and would like to see the breed become more widely recognized.  Regarded as members of our family, our chins bring us great joy and constant entertainment, making us laugh everyday with their silly antics - they are truly the best kept secret in the dog world!

Having rescued many dogs of varying breeds in the past we have experienced many health issues and recognize the importance of mentally and physically healthy dogs.  Due to this we have selectively chosen our little ones from international pedigrees that are extremely healthy, without heart, eye or hip problems, as we hope they will be with us for many years to come.

As a member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), the Ottawa Kennel Club (OKC) and the Japanese Spaniel Club of Canada (JSCC), we work diligently to promote the breed and support owners in day to day life with a Chin, we welcome all enquiries, visits and are happy to share our experiences with this special little breed!  We will also, if at all possible, take in any Japanese Chin who needs to find a new home and help it to do so.
